Frequently asked questions
Do I need a license even for the Basic edition?

Yes. All three editions require a license key activated in the Mac app. Without an active license, streaming is disabled. Each license can be activated on 1 Mac (Basic), 2 Macs (Advanced) or 3 Macs (Professional).
Can I test it before I buy?

Yes. Request a free trial key in the Try It First section. It is valid for 7 days and arrives in your email within moments.
Do I need to buy the app twice, for Mac and for iPhone/iPad?

No. The iPhone and iPad app is free on the App Store. The license is activated on the Mac, and the iPhone or iPad connects to it.
Does the app work on iPad, or only on iPhone?

On both. The same app works on iPhone and iPad. The difference is in the size of the extended workspace.
Do I need to sign in with my Apple account?

No. WiPhoneMonitor does not require an Apple, Google, or Microsoft account login. You can use, for example, a company Mac with a personal iPad.
What is the difference for the Sidecar?

Sidecar only works with iPad and requires the same Apple ID on both devices. WiPhoneMonitor works with iPhone and iPad and does not require logging into any account. See why Sidecar doesn't work with iPhone and what to do in the other two cases where it doesn't appear.
How do I receive my key after payment?

Via email, right after payment confirmation. In the Mac app, open Settings, then License, and paste the key.
Can I pay with Pix even if I live outside Brazil?

Pix is a Brazilian payment method in Brazilian reais. Outside of Brazil, use a Visa or Mastercard credit card, which will be charged in dollars.
Do the plans include updates and support?

Yes. The Annual and Lifetime plans include the updates released while the license is valid. The Annual plan is valid for 12 months with no automatic renewal. The Professional edition includes WhatsApp support, and the other editions include email support only.
Can I request a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of payment. Send an email to contato@wiphonemonitor.com with your order number. Once we approve the refund, the license is cancelled.
